Recruitment Lead - Investment Management (Job Number: 1302034)

Description

Responsible for partnering with hiring managers, including the highest level managers in the organization, and Human Resources teammates to seek out, assess, attract and hire the best talent - both internally and externally. Concentration will be on the most complex/highest level recruitment efforts. He/she will learn and administer all staffing-related policies and procedures, including redeployment activity and The BNY Mellon's diversity recruitment emphasis. He/she will utilize most complex external candidate sourcing methodologies, in a pure recruitment/'headhunter-like' approach to finding and attracting qualified candidates. In addition, he/she will facilitate internal mobility through BNY Mellon's Career Opportunities Program (COP), which will include career counseling. Incumbent will coach and counsel lower-level recruiters.

Qualifications

Most senior-level single contributor recruiting position requiring a minimum of seven or more years of specific recruiting experience or related work experience in Human Resources. B.A. or B.S. or equivalent work experience preferred. Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), sales skills, organizational skills, PC skills, and negotiation skills are required. Knowledge of employment law also a must. Must have excellent working knowledge of non-traditional sourcing capabilities (i.e., Internet). Knowledge of Wealth Management businesses a plus.
