The Recruitment Specialist Sr. manages the exempt staffing process, from identifying the sourcing strategy through the on-boarding process for the successful candidate. This role will specifically support the growth of the clients Plant Science business in Research Triangle Park, NC. This is a project-based contract that will last anywhere from 12-24 months.

Responsibilities:
- Partner with hiring managers to identify sourcing channels for recruiting qualified candidates ranging from entry to Director level openings within clients Plant Science.
- Source and screen qualified candidates for exempt (and select non-exempt) staff in multiple offices throughout the United States
- Leverage diversity recruiting strategies with other company-wide diversity activities
- Analyze hiring statistics
- Ensure Applicant Tracking System is updated with quality data to comply with OFCCP regulations
- Ensure hiring managers understand the staffing process and partner with them to complete the process in a timely and effective manner.
- Prioritize work and be able to manage competing priorities
- Review results of pre-employment assessments, background checks and pre-employment medical exams
- Provide guidance to hiring managers on interview techniques, policies, process, and regulatory issues.
- Extend offers of employment to successful candidates
- Manage 3rd party recruiting vendors and resources

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree required
- 10+ years of combined HR and professional recruiting experience. Ideally past experience recruiting scientists and professionals in biotechnology field, including; agriculture, plant sciences, and academia. .
- Proven success partnering with the customer to execute the recruitment strategy effectively.
- High proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Highly skilled utilizing enterprise-wide Applicant Tracking Systems such as Taleo, Kenexa BrassRing or SAP E-recruit.
- Extremely detail oriented - must have strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor along with exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Ability to think logically and problem solve effectively to manage competing priorities
- Must be able work independently with minimal direction
- Prior experience working within a team environment is a must.
- Flexibility to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
- Must be assertive with follow up to obtain information from various sources.
