About the Job
We are seeking a passionate and driven recruiter to work as part of the recruitment team within Human Resources to support the recruitment activities of the faculties and offices. You will provide a high level of customer service to your designated client group by playing an integral part in supporting the hiring managers through the recruitment process. You will be responsible for:
- Liaison with the client group/s to facilitate new staff appointments, including advertising, letter of offer through to University induction.
- Drive client group-specific employment branding initiatives, and provide input into University-wide employment branding projects. Manage delivery of initiatives within time and budget parameters.
- Provide regular reports to the client groups with regards to recruitment timeframes and actively seek improvements to the process, particularly in relation to improving timeframes
- Interpretation and delivery of Human Resources policies and procedures, Enterprise Agreement requirements, especially related to recruitment, employment contracts, probation and academic promotions, and the provision of expert advice on the interactions between these instruments
- Generalist transactional processing within the HRIS, chiefly in relation to position management (if there are changes in salary, or reporting lines etc.)
- Manage the applications, organise meetings with panel members and interviews with candidates for the University's academic promotions process
To be successful in this role you will have exceptional interpersonal skills and be able to quickly build rapport with hiring managers and other stakeholders, namely your client group. Strong organisational and time management skills are essential to cope with the demands of the role. Previous experience working in a high performing team within a recruitment environment is a must.

Appointment Type: Full-time, fixed-term
Package: Level 6 base salary from $65,183 to $71,951 pa plus 9% employer’s superannuation and annual leave loading.
