RECYCLING OPERATIONS MANAGER

Job Title:                   Operations Manager - Appleton

Reports To:              President

Hours:                            Full Time - 5 days per week 7:30 am – 4:30 pm

                            (Additional hours or times may vary depending on location needs).

 

Job Summary:              Manage all production, maintenance, trucking, and warehouse operations.

 

Duties Include (but are not limited to):

1.       Determine daily warehouse production, staffing, and operations

2.       Schedule employees hours

3.       Schedule daily warehouse production

4.       Monitor inventory

5.       Monitor housekeeping and safety

6.       Schedule – driver time and coordinating job pick-ups

7.       Monitor shipping and receiving schedule

8.       Responsible for product production and quality

9.       Assist warehouse personnel in customer service as needed

10.    Assist warehouse personnel in production as needed

11.    Assist warehouse personnel in shipping and receiving as needed

12.    Assist drivers in loading/unloading vehicles

13.    Fill in as a temporary driver if needed

14.    Assist office personnel as needed

15.    Monitor and schedule all equipment maintenance

16.    Training and supervision of all employees

17.    Assist in employee hiring, discipline, and termination following company guidelines

 

Skills Needed:

Self starter - highly motivated

Good organization skills

Dependable and punctual attendance

Excellent inter-personal communication telephone skills

Excellent customer service skills

Valid drivers license and personal transportation

Ability to quickly learn about our recyclable products and general business practices

General computer knowledge and proficiency in using word processing and spreadsheet software.

 

Education:

College graduate or Associate Degree in business management or related field preferred, or

work experience in related fields in the industry..

 

Experience:

Work experience in the customer service field.

General computer knowledge

Mechanical aptitude and maintenance experience

Previous supervisory or management responsibilities
