Job Title: Region Head - Latin America Origination and Structuring

Position Objective:
Regional Head managing full P/L of Export Agency Finance (EAF) product line. Responsible for origination, structuring and execution of EAF transactions, managing a team of professionals located in the U.S., Mexico, Panama, Colombia and Brazil.
EAF is part of Trade, within Treasury Trade Solutions/GTS. EAF/GTS works closely with Banking and Markets on the origination, structuring and execution of financing solutions supported by official agencies and on the associated advisory services.
EAF provides strategic and financial advice and arranges structured financings that manage risk through credit and political risk arbitrages with official agencies, which include export credit agencies (ECA) and multilateral lending agencies (MLA) as well as international and local investors and insurers. EAF primarily supports Fortune 500 companies investing in or exporting to the emerging markets and emerging markets corporations and governments seeking short term credit lines for trade and long term financing for capital expenditure projects and investments.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead a team of professionals focused on the origination, structuring and execution of EAF financings for the Latin American client base.
Further strengthen the leadership position of the business in the Latin American region.
Selection of the episodic business opportunities to be pursued.
Develop and implement the regional business strategy for the EAF product.
Use capital efficiently and implement cross-sell strategies to maximize returns.
Manage the regional loan book portfolio.

Skills

Knowledge/Experience:
Experienced banker with a minimum of 10/15 years of experience in corporate finance solutions in the Latin American markets and other international markets, particularly in export credit financing, commodities, project financing, bank syndicated loans and securitization.
Skills:
Credit / Corporate Finance skills, derivatives and capital markets.
Project and export finance.
Spanish language is a requirement, Portuguese a plus.
Qualifications:
BA (MBA preferred).
