REGIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER, Medical Devices / Diagnostic Imaging Service Job

We are currently seeking REGIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGERS with 3+ years of directly related outside sales experience to join our dynamic, fast-paced Diagnostic Imaging Service Sales Team in a combination of the following major markets: CHICAGO, ATLANTA, BALTIMORE, PHILADELPHIA, BOSTON, DALLAS, SEATTLE.
Roles Responsibilities:
• Represent the Company’s full line of products and services to hospitals, imaging centers, clinics, Independent Service Organization (ISO) and office customers
• Identify, qualify and consistently close business at assigned targets in territory
• Systematically target and acquire new customers and maintain/penetrate existing customers
• Create and deliver sales quotations and business proposals to customers
• Follow up on sales leads and close business
• Professionally interface with various contacts at end-user and 3rd party customers
• Create, maintain and present a Business Plan for assigned account base to Company management on quarterly and annual basis
• Communicate with management by providing regular CRM updates via SalesForce.com, developing and updating a 30 Day Plan, and attending/contributing to regular operating mechanisms such as rhythm conference calls and sales marketing updates
• Accurately forecast business and manage to budgeted expenses for designated territories
• Assist in the resolution of disputes or major issues with customers
• Assist with cash collection from customers as/if required
• Coordinate communication with Customer Service Representatives, Service Logistics and Inside Sales Personnel
• Provide competitive information to management and strategically positioning company within accounts
• Assist with marketing programs aimed at cultivating new business, including the full support of regional and national tradeshows and input on the Company web site and related marketing/sales collaterals
• Support Company Field Service Engineers in joint business development efforts by providing quotations, proposals, pricing and competitive positioning input, reviewing prospective contracts, setting up sales presentations, assisting with the creation of marketing materials, etc.
• Work closely with the Field Service group, VP of Operations and Company management to ensure that the Company hits sales and profit margin objectives for their territory
Requirements:
Education Certifications
• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred)
• Formal sales, presentation and/or public speaking training
• Intermediate Powerpoint and Excel Microsoft Skills
Experience
• 3+ years experience selling medical devices (5+ years and diagnostic imaging equipment experience highly preferred)
• 3+ years experience selling maintenance and/or repair service (direct experience in the diagnostic imaging service arena preferred)
• Experience working for a diagnostic imaging OEM or dealer
• 1+ years experience in business-to-business sales (3+ years preferred)
• Specific familiarity with the multi-vendor diagnostic imaging service markets
• Large database of current contacts in the market
• Strong knowledge of CRM software packages
• Experience with enterprise software packages
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Access, Excel, Word, Outlook)

• Willingness and ability to travel at least 50%
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• General knowledge of ISO 9000 and FDA Quality System Regulation guidelines
• Basic understanding of business, including familiarity with financial statements
