Position Description:
Siemens Enterprise Communications Regional Account Manager for Verizon
Siemens Enterprise Communications is looking for a Regional Account Manager (Verizon). The channel account manager is responsible for driving the business growth of Siemens solutions with one of Siemens existing national indirect partners The channel account manager will be responsible for ensuing the strategic partner is enabled and engaged in selling and deploying Siemens communication solution into the market place and achieving profitable revenue objectives for both companies within a defined geography.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Increase the sales of Siemens products, software and services
- Execute a jointly aligned business plan to drive revenue with the partner (e.g. opportunity pre-qualification and proposal assistance, provide training, issue resolution, demand creation, forecast management)
- Manage the partner across the Executive levels to individual sales reps
- Full understanding of the Partner strategy and financial model and how Siemens solutions can help the partner meet key company objectives
- Assist in the creation of joint solutions with the partner, work with partner on the alignment and adoption of those solutions, and assist in launching and driving the sales of those solutions with the channel partner
- Work with Siemens Territory Sales teams to prospect, build target account plans and drive coverage across the region
- Design and implement marketing and co-selling plans with partner to motivate partner and generate demand for Siemens products and solutions
- Influence product strategy - work with Siemens product management to provide feedback on feature enhancement s that could help the partner be more competitive in the market
- Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts to sales management on all partner activities
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 10 years experience working for a manufacturer or service provider in channel sales and multi-tier reseller business models is a must. National Channel Management experience is a plus
- The ideal candidate will have skills and experience in strategic business planning, business development, and program or product management
- Successful background in selling complex technology solutions that solve our customers' enterprise communications needs
- Ideal candidate will have experience in one or all of the following areas: VOIP, UCC, security, Cloud Computing, networking and telecommunications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
- Self starter with the ability to communicate and sell at all levels of an organization
- Must be able to deliver effective product and solution presentations, and position end-to-end solutions
- Relationship management skills that translate into identifying decision makers and influencers required.
