Regional Business Director – South Central Region

Ideally, candidates will be located in Dallas, TX, however candidates living in other major metropolitan areas within the South Central Region will also be considered (i.e. Houston, TX; New Orleans, LA; Kansas City, MO and Austin, TX). The region includes TX, OK, AR, AL, MS, LA, TN, KS, NE, MO, IL, KY, NM and Iowa.

The RBD drives the achievement of company sales (~$200-$300MM revenue), thinks strategically to create growth and has the proven ability to lead, manage and develop their team. Through their demonstrated ability to build, shape and execute business building strategies the Regional Business Director will improve financial performance and effectively deploy their regional budget. Utilizing their strategic thinking skills and big pictured orientation, this leadership role will also inform and shape internal strategies that have a customer impact.

The RBD will spend significant time in the field with their District Business Manager and Territory Business Manager teams. Field time will include customer meetings and sales calls to targeted Health Care Providers where the RBD will inspect, refine and assist with the execution and delivery of the Plan of Action (POA). The investment of time in the field with their teams and customers will build in-depth market knowledge that will enable the creation of customized go-to-market strategies that drive regional sales business growth. In addition, the RBD will be responsible for the identification, sharing and implementation of best practices and systems that improve execution and effectiveness.

Leading, developing and managing a high performing team of District Business Managers and Territory Managers is at the core of the RBD's responsibilities. In addition to management of existing talent, the RBD will also be responsible for building and ensuring follow thru on development plans for their teams so that a strong pipeline of talented future leaders is created.

This role will model collaboration with key internal stakeholder groups. Qualifications

Qualified candidates must have the following: a minimum of a bachelor's degree is required. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license issued in one of the 50 United States and a clean driving record; At least 5 years of people management experience is required, preferably with managing Sales Professionals and Managers. At least 5 yrs in Professional, Channel, Managed Markets or Government Sales is required. . Previous experience in sales management is strongly preferred. Qualified candidates will need to possess the following: Strong business partnering skills; Negotiation and influencing skills; Demonstrated capability to skillfully communicate with all levels of employees, influence outcomes and establish credibility. This position could require up to 60% travel which may include overnight and/or weekends.
