Regional Channel Sales Manager Job in Irvine, California US

Mitsubishi Electric Electronics USA, Inc. has an excellent opportunity for a Regional Channel Sales Manager in the HVAC Advanced Products Division in Irvine, CA.

 

This position will be Responsible for establishing and developing HVAC Distributors to achieve corporate goals.

Responsibilities:

·         Set objectives, goals and quotas for the sales region.

·         Conduct annual DAPP meetings to address SWOT issues and assist distributors in implementing effective sales and market plans.

·         Assist Distributors and their dealer/contractors in developing local sales, marketing/ad campaigns

·         Assume lead role in communicating product and sales program update meeting with Distributor Management, TMs and Inside Sales staff...

·         Accompany Area Sales Managers on sales calls on distributor branches

·         Participate in local professional trade groups, trade shows, industry associations and functions

·         Prepare monthly distributor sales/market reports for review with distributor management.

·         Develop relationships with utility companies and builders.

·         Assist Area Managers in conducting/facilitating contractor business development workshops.

·         Monitor competition- pricing, programs, stock levels, etc.

·         Advise Zone Manager, Channel Development Sales Manager and Director of Sales on market conditions.

·         Suggest promotional ideas.

·         Monitor inventory levels at Distributors.

·         Performs other job functions as assigned.        

 

Experience/Education:

·         BS degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Business Administration/Marketing; MBA preferred

·         7 - 10 years sales managerial skills and experience (preferably with HVAC distribution and contractor experience)

·         HVAC product, application and supply chain knowledge

·         Previous experience with creating and implementing sales and marketing plans with channel partners.

·         Strong communication skills (presentation and writing)

·         Computer literate- able to use software for presentations, sales reporting/spreadsheets and equipment selection
