Regional Commercial Applications Lead (VP Level) recruitment

Role Description:
* Accountable for all IT applications under Commercial Lines vertical
* Manages the delivery of Commercial Lines projects
* Oversees the production support of Commercial Lines applications
* Reports directly to the Regional CIO on the status and progress, matrix to Global Commercial Lines CIO

Responsibilities:
In this role, the candidate is responsible for the following:
* Project management
o Overall responsible for all systems deliverables, checking for quality, completeness and adherence to SDLC
o Overall responsible for delivery of systems projects to be on time and on budget
o Working closely with the following parties:
 Engaging business stakeholders - Regional Commercial Lines Lead and Regional Customer Solutions Innovations Lead - for business requirements
 Involving regional systems team - CTO, Infrastructure, Security/Governance Leads - for guidance, inputs and delivery on all aspects of systems delivery from business case stage through to analysis, design and implementation
 Liaising and managing Chartis delivery partners - CTOM, Centre of Excellence, AIG GS - for systems implementation matters and infrastructure needs
 Liaising and managing third party system developers, where applicable
 Engaging Country systems team, as necessary
o Tracking and managing project progress, from analysis through to deployment
o Reviewing project estimates during business case stage
o Coordinating and managing cross team and country dependencies
o Identifying, managing, resolving or mitigating cross team risks; Escalating risks to project manager, where necessary
o Identifying, managing and resolving cross team issues; Escalating issues to project manager, where necessary
o Chairing weekly systems meeting
o Preparing weekly status report
o Reporting systems stream progress to the project working committee, escalating any issues/risks for attention/guidance/ resolution

* Production support
o Overall responsible for production support, checking that the SLAs are met
o Managing direct reports and service partners who are responsible for:
 Handling the production support process, monitoring that the SLAs are met
 Coordinating software fix/enhancements between IT teams and seeing through their deployment
 Monitoring SLA performance, collating service stats from different IT teams and providing monthly performance reports on overall service delivery within the teams

Typical Minimum Experience:
* Minimum fifteen (15) years of experience with skills in program management, project management and supporting sophisticated technologies
* Experience in Commercial insurance systems and technology mandatory

Typical Minimum Knowledge and Skills:
* Sound project planning skills
* Strong coordination and communications skills
* Ability to multi-task as running of multiple concurrent projects are necessary
* Understanding of latest web technologies and integration methods
* Different deployment architectures
* Ability to review and refine IT architectures.
* Experience in managing data migrations
