Regional Communications Manager recruitment
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
- To develop and implement internal communications interventions supporting the business in achieving business objectives and positioning of AXA as the preferred employer
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Internal communications
- Ensure consistent, effective and timely cascading of corporate information (Global and Regional) and announcements for all internal stakeholders by developing and implementing internal communications activities/campaigns to support the business strategy and enhance reputation internally. This includes, but is not limited to it:
- Writing announcements for Regional CEO and other Regional ExCom members for their internal messaging
- Developing key messages for management team members when presenting to staff on organisational developments
- Launching and communicating about key initiatives as Ambition AXA internally including the two pillars (culture of trust and achievement and customer centricity) and other Group Communications activities such as Shareplan and AXA Miles
- Develop specific communications actions for departments like RHR, AXA U, Regional Finance, IT and Regional Marketing, including regional ‘departments’ like LD, CB, Compliance and IT Security and subjects like Manager’s Toolkit and Leadership Framework.
- Ensure alignment of internal communications of local entities with Regional and Group strategies by liaising with Group and entity counterparts, including monthly calls with entities and with Group Communications Teams, but not limited to it, to support the business strategy and enhance AXA’s reputation internally.
- Ensure AXA Asia’s presence in global publications like Executive Web, ComWeb, Switch, Group HR portal and newsletter, to establish a positive image of the region globally, supporting Regional ExCom in their relationship management with Group.
- Monitor KPIs to measure and evaluate effectiveness of internal communications activities regionally by taking care of the regional internal communications survey.
Building capabilities
- Support entities in building communications capabilities by co-managing a regional network and implement LD opportunities for entities in order to strengthen local internal communications capabilities.
Employer Branding
- Develop and implement a regional employer branding strategy for AXA Asia and support the entities with implementation locally in order to support the business in attracting and retaining staff.
Corporate Responsibility
- Support the Regional Corporate Responsibility (CR) Manager with communications advise and activities
- Liaising with local CR Managers to ensure consistency in communication throughout the region.
If and when necessary support other projects like ACM (content development) and external communications projects that are instrumental for achieving our business objectives.
EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree holder majoring in Communications, Marketing or related area
- A minimum of 7 years’ of relevant experience in corporate communications or related area
- Exposure to/ knowledge of financial industry an advantage
- Experience with Employer branding, Employee Engagement and Internal Communications a must
- Have a strong understanding of Key Business Drivers
- Strong international corporate experience and being comfortable in dealing with different cultures and nationalities in a multi-site environment
