Title:  Regional Dealer Manager

Location:  Mid West/North East Territory

Purpose – Job Summary:  

 The incumbent is responsible for sales of company software products along with the establishment of positive and long-term sales relationships with customers while performing director level activities designed to achieve sales, revenue and markets share targets.

 

Responsibilities:

  

·         Develop and recommend to executive management both strategic and tactical sales action plans, and implement approved plans to achieve targets for non-inter-company sales.

·         Oversee the determination of priority and effort given to each account based on sales potential/maintenance.

·         Participate in the establishment and maintenance of high level, positive and effective contact with key customers, dealers, lead generators, and others to enhance opportunities for new and continuing business development and major key accounts.

·         Ensure the maintenance of up to date and accurate sales records, expense plans, budgets and related databases.

·         Maintain constant awareness of markets, competitor activities and problems within assigned areas; recognizing trends that develop, and approving appropriate strategic and tactical sales/marketing recommendations from their sales staff.

·         Identify opportunities for improvement processes in working practices/team efficiency.

·         Encourage the generation of new sales ideas and participation in Company sales and promotion activities.

·         Direct and ensure adherence to the Company’s proprietary information protection policies.

·         Maintain positive working relationships with all internal departments and attend meetings as requested.

·         Work closely with and maintain good working relationships with areas such as Customer Service, Operations, Engineering, QA, Materials and Finance to ensure both customer company requirements are met or exceeded.

·         Oversee the review of such tasks as: sales proposals, work-orders; product input; work-order cost estimates/proposal completion; gross margin analysis; invoice review.

 

 

Requirements:

·         BS Degree preferred

·         8+ years related sales experience in SW Industry.

·         Specific knowledge about specific types of POS retail SW Systems

·         Travel as necessary to meet business needs
