Regional Deployment Manager recruitment
Overview of Role
To support the Regional CIO and Head of e-commerce, Asia Pacific, managing application deployment to clients and internal front office staff for project activities acrossAsia. This is a hands-on senior role within the IT services group and the candidate must be capable of managing and leading IT delivery teams and managers, to deliver business aligned electronic products to our clients on time, within budget and to a consistently high standard. This role includes Client facing, both IT and Traders, in conjunction with front office sales teams.
Responsibilities
- Work cross functionally to administrate a deployment timeline, integration approach, and within an allocated budget. Coordinate with the Development Team, Sales Teams, Product Management to guarantee the technical environment requirements, operations, and service offerings are met.
- Owning the lead on defining deployment schedule commitments and change management
- Leading on priority issues and escalations among internal teams
- Leading workflow recommendations and change in order to optimise service delivery
- Act as the point of contact for designated clients by handling technical issues, business escalations, and guaranteeing a timely resolve of such issues
- Produce weekly / monthly dashboard reports on regional application deployment across geographies, business lines and product lines
- Management of consolidated reporting representing both progress and issue / risk management
- To fulfil any additional/ad hoc duties as required to meet the needs of the business
Requirements
- 6+ years of proven experience in regional deployment preferably within the financial services industry.
- Determined, diligent and passionate about delivering high quality services to the business
- Time focused for rapid deployment of business critical software
- Ability to cope effectively under pressure and maintain composure when dealing with conflict
- Keen eye for detail - ability to assimilate and review documentation, status updates and reports quickly and efficiently
- Mandarin spoken / written skills highly advantageous
- Process Management / Process Improvement and project management skills
- Personal Organisation. Works systematically, manages own and others' time and plans ahead to effectively accomplish work goals
- Excellent communication and influencing skills; proven stakeholder management experience
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelors Degree / Masters degree / HND or HNC or equivalent
- Practical experience with software development life cycles and project methodologies
- ITIL V3 Foundation an advantage
