An international insurance company with growing operations in the Asia Pacific region.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, your success will be judged by your ability to lead to a small specialist team across the Asian region focusing on Accounting policy, financial control, technical accounting and SOX related areas. A key objective of your role will be to drive and develop internal governance for regional accounting policy approval and ensuring full compliance with IFRS and group accounting standards. You will provide a centre of excellence in the region through training and development programmes to build and improve the technical accounting capability in the finance function.
To be considered you will be qualified with at least 10 years experience with a very strong technical accounting/IFRS background within the Insurance industry. Industry experience is critical and you will have either worked for an insurance company or an audit firm focusing on insurance clients. You will need to be able demonstrate proven leadership skills as well as excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
