Regional Director (Asia) – Head Quartered in Singapore or Hong Kong recruitment
Client:
Our Client is a leading US global Alternative investment management firm that focuses on both public and private equity investments. Their investment focus is predominately on Infrastructure and Power, Energy Utilties (PEU) sectors. As a result of continued growth in the Asia-Pacific region, the firm is now looking to source the right candidate to be based either in Singapore or Hong Kong to source for the right investment opportunity.
Role:
The successful candidate would be hired at a Director level and would be the key investment professional interfacing with external counterparties which includes institutional, retail distribution, Banks, Legal Councils, and Government Authorities. Other responsibilities would include Marketing and Fund Raising.
The role will involve at least 30% travelling within Asia and in client-facing activities. Internally, you will work closely with product development, legal and operations teams to execute projects relating to the firm's Asian investments.
Requirements:
-The ideal candidate should have 8 to 15 years of work experience in the investment management industry and have at least worked on several investment mandates within the Infrastucture and PEU sectors
-Deep and broad knowledge of capital markets including prior experience in capital raising, and deal origination would be a plus
-Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must
-A successful track record and have worked in a team-based environment
