Regional Director of Business Development (Expansion Position)
As a Regional Director of Business Development, you will be primarily responsible for prospecting, building a robust pipeline of opportunities and closing sales for CRF's portfolio of products to meet and exceed revenue goals. This is a dynamic opportunity to develop a market area and launch new products that make a significant impact in the community.
These responsibilities include:
- Lead generation, market development and account management
- Developing new and growing existing business in a fourteen state area of Southeastern US.
- Selling CRF's entire portfolio of products
- Pipeline management and forecasting along with utilization of the CRM Customer Relationship Management System
- Create a market presence within a given geography and articulate the Value Proposition of CRF and all of CRF's products for competitive differentiation
- Work cross functionally with key stakeholders and colleagues at CRF to leverage internal resources and deliver value to customers to optimize the customer experience
- Assisting clients with screening loans against product terms
- Negotiating loan purchases and portfolio purchases with input from investors, and CRF resources
- Develop and maintain a regional business and market development plan with consistent updates to the VP of Sales
Requirements:
Our ideal candidate will possess the following abilities, attributes, experience and skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance or related field required
- 5 years commercial lending experience and/or financial products sales, presenting loan recommendations to senior management or Executive level
- 5+ years of proven business development/sales experience and success selling to Executive Level, C-Suite Executives; CEO's, CFO's, Presidents, etc..
- Competitive sales experience working with local, regional and national accounts
- Strong organizational skills, excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience in prospecting and purchasing loans from third parties is preferred
- Must be a self-starter, flexible, self motivated and customer-focused
- 10% travel required

CRF offers a full range of comprehensive benefits, including a competitive salary of $60K-$65K base, commensurate with experience, with the opportunity to earn a total compensation of $100K+ (including commissions), medical, dental, and a 403(b)tax deferred employee savings plan.
