We’re looking for a passionate, dedicated Regional Director of Life Guidance Operations to join our team at Atria. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to Life Guidance Directors to ensure quality service provided to our residents with respect to Maintenance, Housekeeping, Culinary Services, Care and Programming in assigned communities.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential Functions):
The following essential functions are the fundamental job duties of the position to be completed with or without appropriate reasonable accommodation.
-Evaluates operations of the entire Life Guidance Neighborhood including Maintenance, Housekeeping, First Impressions, Culinary Services, Care, Staffing, and Programming.*
-Plans, develops, and evaluates resident programs with an emphasis on the Best Friends approach.*
-Optimize all programming opportunities by maintaining a functional reporting relationship to Active Aging while maintaining positive team work and results between Engage Life and Life Guidance teams.*
-Assists in the training of new Life Guidance staff in all functional areas of the neighborhood including all applicable training.*
- Ensures that all assigned communities follow Atria’s Life Guidance policies and practices related to all functional areas.*
- Ensures that all assigned communities meet the program standards of Atria’s Life Guidance Program in all functional areas.*
- Sets community goals, including program development in partnership with Operations.*
-Coaches and mentors community Life Guidance staff in the following:
creating and administering a well-rounded calendar of events (both structured, and un-structured) that is filled with a variety of programs, events, and activities that are person centered and reflect the eight dimensions of engagement.*
- ensuring the neighborhood is safe and secure and everything is in good operating order.*
- ensuring the neighborhood is kept clean, neat, and offers a good first impression.*
- providing a positive dining and snack experience that meets the nutritional needs of our residents with exceptional service.*
- providing the appropriate care to our residents, including medication management if applicable and documentation is accurately maintained.*
-Assists in building active and healthy aging program development that impacts the quality of residents’ lives, allowing them to maintain their highest level of independence.*
- Provides accountability for Customer Satisfaction, Life Guidance Quality Enhancement, and sales results for all assigned communities.*

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications

-Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in gerontology, behavioral health, social work, recreation, fitness or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
-Dementia certification preferred.
-At least 4 years of leadership experience with Memory Care / Dementia. Past experience programming for independent, assisted living, and dementia care is a must
-Knowledge of and experience in the maintenance, housekeeping, nutritional, and care needs of seniors in a Memory/Dementia environment
-Multi-site and supervisory experience with program planning.
-Experience rolling out, training, and implementing new programs.
-Valid driver’s license and able to drive an automobile, light truck, or van.
-Strong computer skills.
-Compelling presentation and training skills.
-Organized, deadline and results orientated. Creative and enterprising. Strong sales skills.
-Required Travel: 95-100%
