Responsibilities: The Regional Director is a licensed clinical professional who is a clinical expert in the assessment and treatment of pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric and dual diagnosed patients/families in a variety of out-patient settings. As a clinical expert the scope of practice includes but is not limited to diagnostic assessment, counseling, brief treatment, short-term psychotherapy, behavior modification, mental health consultation and teaching/mentoring. In addition to clinical responsibilities, the Regional Director writes, participates in research and projects and coordinates the placement of social work students and staff development activities. Provide reports/data as needed to Institute administration and funders and participates in the development of new programs.
Requirements: LMSW/LCSW/DSW required as well as demonstrated increasingly responsible experience in mental health/social services. Must have outstanding organizational skills and supervisory experience, preferably in a multi-site ambulatory care setting. Ability to design and implement clinical pathways and protocols as needed. Knowledgeable in psychopharmacology. Bilingual Spanish preferred.
