Job Description AECOM Environment is seeking a leader for the Michigan/Ohio EHS practice who will manage a diverse industrial environmental group and be responsible for business development, mentoring of staff and department revenue and profit goals. Responsibilities and Duties: Manage the EHS business for Michigan/Ohio area: Air program consulting and permitting, Hazardous waste management, Due diligence assessment programs and consulting, Industrial EHS Compliance auditing, SPCC and SWPP plan development, implementation of EMIS solutions for clients. Manage existing client relationships, expand and develop new clientele, make contacts with prospective clients to expand services and maintain existing relationships Staff management EHS group. Perform senior project manager role for environmental projects. Respond, prepare and review proposals for: SPCC Plans Compliance auditing SWPP Plans Tier II reports Air Permits Safety program elements Lead project teams through all phases of EHS projects. Serve as Technical Resource for EHS processes throughout the Midwest Execute and manage multiple projects. Qualifications: Education: BS in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering or equivalent. 8-12 years experience in performing/managing EHS activities in an industrial facility setting or for an industrial client. Strong organizational and project management skills including: supervisory experience, planning, staffing, budget management, schedule maintenance, quality control, safety, and coordination of subcontractors and internal support staff. Must have excellent verbal, written, communication and analytical/business development skill set. Proven business development skill set with clients.
