Regional Engineer Job

The Regional Engineer will provide technical support on failure analysis to our regional business units located globally. The main goal of this position is to assist the team in reducing field failures and improve the product support process by improving the transfer of information to and from the region. Essential Responsibilities - Evaluate complex pump operation problems with multiple contributing factors - Evaluate dismantle and inspection data and determine most root cause or most probable cause of failure - Coordinate a technical team and lead them through the root cause failure analysis process - Develop periodic activity reports outlining work activities - Deliver technical presentations to management and customers - Establish a working relationship with the Sales, Quality and Manufacturing personnel in the regions - Understand manufacturing process related to centrifugal pumps Qualifications/Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree of Science in Engineering / Engineering Technology OR a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of work experience in a related industry, in the area of analysis of failed field equipment, down hole pumping applications, and field practices and installations Additional Eligibility Qualifications GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening.
