Key Responsibilities Inc:

Lead develop the strategic direction and operation of the Finance function across the Austrian, Swiss German markets.

Deliver strong financial control, corporate governance and process discipline.

Address both talent planning and coaching in building a best in class finance function.

Act as a primary point of contact in developing a transparent management information system where all key stakeholders have clear understanding of controls underlying performance drivers.

Determines progress against strategic plan, budget, and forecast.

Review the business’ approach to investment decisions. Implement a rigorous ‘return on investment’ culture.

Key Requirements:

Ideally Big Four trained with a strong technical ability in IFRS US GAAP reporting.

A track record of using superior financial understanding and analysis to drive decision making

Recognised accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA).

High impact communication/presentation skills and the ability to develop great working relationships internally and externally.

An excellent track record as people manager and talent developer; has built and developed a finance function in complex matrix organization, often working with virtual teams.

Evidence of strong career progression in a tightly controlled, fast moving, customer focused FMCG or Retail environment

Fluent German English languages skills (non negotiable)
