In this role you will drive the business plan and mentor future leaders. You will provide financial analysis and advice to regional and business unit management team on existing business, forecast and projections and monthly operating results. Additionally, you will provide recommendations based on analysis and interpretation of statistics of current and future operations. You will also assist operating managers to interpret financial trends and to comply with accounting standards. You will mentor one financial professional within the Region as well as several unit controllers on their career opportunities. Finally, you will provide training of ARAMARK financial requirements and direct compliance initiatives. In this position you will report to the Regional Vice President and have an indirect reporting relationship to the Field CFO.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
- Profit Loss Statement reviews
- Create Sales presentations and pro formas
- Communicate with external clients.
- Interpret accounting practices and internal controls over financial reporting pursuant to the Sarbanes-Oxley Act 2002 and ARAMARK Policies and Procedures.
- Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals and the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public is required.
- Working with regional Senior leadership in assuring that regional strategic and operational plans are met
- Work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference is required. Must have good knowledge of applicable statutes, laws, rules, and regulations.
- Serve as liaison between Operations and Finance, providing clear communication to both parties involved.
- Read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulation is required.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting and an MBA or CPA is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 - 7 years finance and accounting experience
- Outstanding analytical and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to translate financials into “actionable” items for execution to drive the business
