As part of a wider business restructure, Norbert DentressangleTransport Services has a challenging opportunity for the new role of Regional General Manager (RGM) - South East.
Bringing our shared-user network sites together with all dedicated accounts in the region, the RGM has responsibility for all aspects of the region's performance including financial, operational and commercial accountability.
This is a senior management position and requires operators with a strong entrepreneurial flair who want to have full control of their own business. You will be supported by central functions who will be closely aligned to your region - you will direct them on a local basis. To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate your abililty to maximise financial results through strong financial and operational control, and display your aptitude in building strong and lasting commercial relationships.
You will have proven experience in a similar position and be able to demonstrate your capability to create high performance teams in areas such as new business implementation and operational improvement, whilst delivering sustained business growth and including achieving required infill business to maximise fleet utilisation.
The RGM will report directly to the Managing Director of Transport Services with full accountability to the Board. The RGM will also work closely with the Operations Director to maintain common standards of performance.
