Regional Head – Change Management – Banking (based in Beijing) recruitment
The bank will provide relocation assistance for the successful candidate.
This role will suit a seasoned Change Management professional with extensive experience gained in implementing various banking operational change. The bank currently has multiple projects running, including two large scale regional projects.
Main responsibilities include:
- Contributes to New Products Approval Process specific to Asia initiatives.
- Acts as Subject Matter Expertise (SME) to translate business objectives into plans that can be Implemented
- Providing leadership and management of a team of professionals for the delivery of initiatives through all phases and deliverables.
- Provides recommendations to improve process efficiency, effectiveness, responsiveness and controls, and compliments the change management and product support strategy
- Acts as the central point of contact for operations technical problems escalation
- Leads the development of business planning, technology planning, and process development as related to change initiatives
- Understands the regulatory and compliance requirements
- Participates in various external user committees representing the Bank
- Represents project delivery and operations in contributing to the overall Investment Spending Applications Plan
- Accountable for the preparation business cases and planning for staff resources on multiple projects of varying size and complexity, including technical projects and change management initiatives
Requirements
- Strong Operations background in order to represent the business unit in large, complex, cross-boundary and/or high risk projects and initiatives. Initiatives may include the development and implementation of new/ revised products, implementation of new systems or enhancements, implementation of new/ revised processes in support of internal efficiencies and industry regulatory changes.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in project, business, operations, and controls
- 10+ years of project-related work experience, including that of project lead for initiatives of complex, large scale, process and technical projects
- Demonstrated proficiency in all phases of the project process including initiation, risk management, planning and management, documentation, requirements identification, testing, conversion, parallel, and implementation
- Advanced knowledge of process, process re-engineering, and/or project management
