VP - Development Manager - Regional Head IT operations - FXMM (Foreign Exchange and Money Markets)
Role
You will take responsibility for managing leading the APAC resources including Development, Level 3 Support and Quality Assurance teams.
This will be a demanding role in a new area of the business and for the right candidate it is an opportunity to progress your career and be an integral part of the continuing success of a leading multi-national brand.
You will be responsible for defining and delivering an IT strategy for FXMM applications in the APAC region and providing a competent, respected and effective escalation point for APAC related issues.
Liaise closely with the APAC based stakeholders and coordination with senior IT management locally and globally to build a delivery capability in the APAC region based on a Scrum/Agile delivery model
Requirements
• Strong leadership experience in managing regional IT teams at a financial institution is required.
• Business knowledge of Foreign Exchange (FX) and Money Market (MM) processes and workflows is required, ideally in a post trade environment.
• Demonstrated experience with aspects of the Software Development Life Cycles is necessary. Strong technical / system design experience is required.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management skills and experience
• Familiarity with local ethical, legal and regulatory standards is necessary.
Reporting to: Global Head of FXMM Operations IT and the APAC Head of Clearing and Settlements IT
Travel Requirements: This position is based in Singapore but may require occasional travel.
