Regional Head of IT Audit (VP) – Banking recruitment
Our client is looking for an experienced banking Infrastructure IT Audit VP based in Singapore. The vacancy is for a Regional Head of IT Audit and we are looking for a candidate with around 12 to 16 years of relevant infrastructure audit/IT experience, who is familiar with security practices and technically competent to review network configurations, SAN setups, servers, IT governance, data warehouses, etc. Regional travel is required, estimated to be 20% of the time, predominantly around Asia.
Responsibilities:
The APAC Head of IT Audit will play a pivotal role within the global IT and regional APAC internal audit teams and will contribute significantly to planning, process innovation, and assurance/advisory project execution. Responsibilities will include:
- Design and implementation of the APAC technology audit strategy
- Managing audit projects aimed at optimizing technology control activities and processes
- Risk assessment of information technology and business units
- Identify key control issues and emerging risks and work with management to ensure effective remediation
- Build strong relationships with technology and other business partners
Skills and Experience:
- Deep experience in the fields of information technology audit, information security or technology risk management
- Strong experience auditing operating systems, databases, networks, and other areas of technology operations
- Strong project management, organizational skills and presentation skills
- Experience managing small teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving abilities
- Aptitude towards risk management, scenario analysis and problem solving
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with business management
- Financial services experience is preferred; understanding products, business processes and systems
- Professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, CRISC, CISSP, etc.
