This HR partner will provide both strategic direction and execution for the full scope of Human Resources generalist responsibilities in the areas of performance management, associate engagement, talent assessments, employee relations, recruiting, training facilitation, and other general HR activities for a given region. This innovative and entrepreneurial minded HR professional will also partner with the Regional Director on key objectives and strategy for the region and ensure that HR initiatives and programs are aligned with the team and company priorities. This position is based in Atlanta with 30% travel to key markets.
Required Experience
- Minimum 5 years direct HR Manager experience supporting multi-unit locations w/in the retail industry required.
- Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent HR experience.
- Must have up-to-date knowledge and understanding of human resources and employment practices.
- Solid Employee Relations experience.
- Requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven track record in building partnerships with field management in providing HR direction and support.
- Ability to analyze reports, identify gaps, make recommendations, and follow-up.
- Strong recruiting experience and the ability to identify high potential candidates.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, ATS.
- Ability to work independently and to coordinate cross-functional efforts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to identify and apply systems solutions to business problems.
- Strong training and facilitation skills.
