Regional IOT leader
Working within the customer project delivery organization, the right candidate will be in charge of operators’ acceptance of new chipset products based on our WiMax LTE technologies.
You will maintain a good level of IOT performance between our Application Reference Design and operator all deployed BS. You will also support ODM to bring their products based to the same level of maturity as our Application Reference Design.
You will have to negotiate schedules and test case acceptance with our operators.
You will be responsible for the technical deployment success of our chipset based products in operators’ Ecosystems

Scope of the job
- Consolidate activity planning in the assigned region. Organize resource allocation (Team size is 1-3 engineers)
- Insure technical information sharing within the team and contribute to WW capitalization plan with other region
- Regional Team line management: Quarterly Objective definition Assessment in cooperation with WW IOT leader
- Work closely with our engineering and application teams to gain expertise in our WiMAX /LTE solutions
- Work closely with our worldwide support and service teams to properly support the introduction of new products coming from ODM and OEM (e.g. Taiwan, China, Europe, USA)
- Organize IOT field test campaigns.
- Maintain IOT performance reports.
- Negotiate test plan, schedules and test acceptance with operators.
- Execute test plans, qualify issues, troubleshoot in close cooperation to the engineering team
- Build and maintain a good relation with the operator management and engineering.
- Be aware and anticipate future changes in the network.
- Investigate and analyze technical issues found in lab IOT and on the field and propose solutions
- Support our customers when testing their products.
- Understand system vendors’ requirements report them to other organizations at our company
- Promote our technology solutions to system vendors and provide feedback to our Sales, PLM and Business Development departments
Required skills
- Electrical Engineering degree
- 10-15 years of experience in the telecommunications industry
- System-level knowledge of broadband wireless access systems or other similar wired or wireless systems
- Previous experience in operator acceptance
- Strong capabilities of negotiation
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- First experience with customers
- Fluent English
- This is a very “hands-on role”
