Our client is a well-established international Banking group and an industry leader in the Trade Finance Supply Chain Solutions businesses currently undergoing strategic growth in Asia. As part of commitment to continuous growth in Asia, an outstanding opportunity has arisen for an experienced Trade Product Management team leader to join the Product Management Group, based in Hong Kong.
Reporting to the Regional Head of Product Management for Transaction Banking, you will lead a small regional team to develop and execute product management strategy for existing and new solutions / products with particular focus on Open Account products and services within the Trade Finance business. You will serve as Subject Matter Expert providing knowledge and expertise on product capabilities, market landscape, competitor analysis and clients' trends. Focusing on product management, you will be actively involved on new products launches, existing products enhancement / re-packaging as well as creating market specific ideas, expanding product offerings, looking into pricing capabilities and analysing business case, cost and benefits for products. In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining product line knowledge, stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes and conduct competitors analysis. You will partner closely with Sales, Support and Implementation teams to create a client-centric strategy within the Transaction Banking division.
To qualify, individuals must possess:
- Minimum 10 - 12 years relevant experience in Product Management within Trade Finance and Supply Chain Solutions
- Strong Open Account products and services knowledge
- Experience in team management and project management with track record in projects delivery
- Experience in working on complex project structure
- Asia working experience is highly preferred
- Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English
