Job Title Regional Loss Prevention Manager- EAST REGION Job Type Management Save This Job Save this job Saved Job (Notes) Email This Job Email this job Print This Job Printer-Friendly Version Job Title Regional Loss Prevention Manager- EAST REGION Job Description Areas included are: Baltimore and Washington,DC REQUIRED: previous Regional LP experience. - Provide disciplined leadership including setting clear expectations and holding the team and self accountable for results. - Owns shrink and safety results for the region and supports Loss Prevention five play strategy - Manages the training, detection, investigation and successful resolution of all internal investigations within assigned region - Select, develop and manage performance of individuals and teams, measured by appropriate performance reports/scorecard, retention, internal promotions, training completion, and associate survey results. - Recruits, hires, trains, and supervises the District Loss Prevention Managers as applicable within assigned region - Ensures all training in the detection and detention of shoplifters has been completed in assigned region - Conducts assessments of Loss Prevention and operational performance that impacts shortage control. Actively works with district teams in the development and implementation of action plans to improve performance. - Knowledgeable in the areas of safety, food safety, OSHA and environmental programs, and ensures implementation and compliance in assigned region. - Reviews safety and food safety inspections on a regular basis. Ensures the timely and accurate reporting of results and assists in the development and implementation of corrective actions. - Ensures accurate and timely report writing, record keeping and retention of evidence by conducting periodic reviews - Ensures the proper operation and repairs of alarm, EAS and CCTV equipment - Educates and motivates region, district and store associates to achieve shrink, workers compensation and general liability goals - Works as a liaison between SHC and the criminal justice community - Demonstrates courageous leadership by identifying and communicating potential ethical or safety issues that must be addressed at a higher level. - Manages and ensures reporting of critical incidents in assigned area of responsibility - Create and maintain a culture of winning that resonates with associates. (LP Portal, LP Metrics, Shrink and Safety results) - Communicate the Loss Prevention 5 Play Strategy to region/district operations leadership in order to continuously enhance the performance of shrink and safety - Personally support, coach and develop leaders two levels down, creating an environment where our associates can be successful. - Build a strong bench of talent to develop people for internal promotion.
