Regional Manager, Mid-Atlantic
The Regional Manager coordinates and directs multiple store managers at store locations in the Plains/Midwest area of United States to enhance the performance of sales and EBITDA. Extensive retail experience, leadership ability, and organizational skills are required to monitor and put programs in place to increase margins, control expenses, create promotions and develop staff. Duties also include, but are not limited to, strategic planning, new business development, budgeting, management development and recruiting for the Manager Trainee program from internal and external sources. The ability to travel within the region 25% of the time is necessary. Therefore, residing within the region is required (NC, SC). Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree or combination of experience in store management. At least 5-7 years in multi-store, big box, or larger college bookstore environment with sales above $5 million is required; textbook experience preferred.
