Regional Manager – Non-Motor/Motor – P&C – SGP recruitment
As the Regional Manager (Non-Motor/PC/APAC/Insurance/SGP), your responsibilities will include:
* Defining and reviewing the non-motor underwriting strategy on a yearly basis;
* Reviewing the companies' adherence to underwriting guidelines;
* Exceptional approval process management;
* Support the companies with respect to reinsurance strategy; and
* NatCat strategy and management and all related NatCat topics.
As the Regional Manager (Motor/PC/APAC/Insurance/SGP), your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting the companies in their motor portfolio management with focus on segmentation and pricing;
* Defining and reviewing the Motor underwriting guidelines;
* Reviewing the companies' adherence to underwriting guidelines; and
* Facilitating motor related know-how sharing across and etc (all motor portfolio related topics).
In order to be considered, the Regional Manager (Non-Motor/Motor/PC/APAC/Insurance/SGP) will possess the following qualifications:
* At least 10 years of experience in PC insurance, reinsurance or consulting;
* Minimum 5 years underwriting experience non-motor/motor business and/or similar insurance experience;
* Familiarity with the Asian markets / having worked in one or more Asian markets would be an added advantage;
* Relevant qualifications are an added advantage (chartered insurer or similar; actuarial / mathematics background, etc);
* Strong communication skills and fluent in written and spoken English; and
* Good interpersonal and cross cultural skills.
