The RM has oversight for the Region to ensure that advisor and client needs are being met. The Regional Manager will be expected to execute a strategy that will grow our mutual fund and Separately Managed Account (SMA) business in the Region.

In addition to acting as a liaison between advisors, clients and portfolio managers, this position carries the responsibility for providing advisors with value added ideas to attract and retain new clients. This role also requires developing expertise on a full array of Brandes and staying up-to-date on competitor products. .

Desired Skills Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of investment experience in brokerage distribution and developing territories.

• Excellent individual and group presentation skills; Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Enthusiasm for value investing products and philosophy.

• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

• Must be registered in a state as an Investment Adviser Representative as of December 31, 1999, and have either (a) Series 7 and 66, (b) Series 7, 63, and 65, or (c) CFA designation at the time of hire. If the individual does not fulfill the above requirements at the time of hire, then the individual will be required to take and successfully pass the Series 7 and Series 66 within 6 months of hire.
