My Client is major REIT in the Ottawa area. We are conducting a search for a Regional Manager for a Rental portfolio to join their dynamic team.
The Ideal Candidate will have:

OVERALL PURPOSE/OBJECTIVE
Provides strategic planning and tactical oversight in leading team to drive and enhance managed portfolio value for stakeholders through effective and efficient property operation and deployment of resources”
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conducts organization planning and ensures human resource plans support property and managed portfolio business strategy objectives
- Assists in development of Rental Portfolios vision and business strategy both commercial and residential
- Leads development and execution of managed portfolio business strategy
- Leads team in development of tactical plans to achieve managed portfolio business strategy objectives
- Practices strategic financial management; maintaining a high-level and longer-term perspective, without losing sight of current objectives, in order to maximize value and performance of the managed portfolio over time
- Continuously monitors financial performance and leads team in achieving objectives
- Takes advantage of opportunities that require unbudgeted expenditures where the long-term performance of the property or managed portfolio can be enhanced
- Actively encourages and supports employee and team training and development
- Enables and supports employee performance by providing ongoing coaching, guidance and direction to employees and team
- Fosters an environment of innovation and creativity to support continuous service delivery improvement and to create differentiated product and service offerings
- Actively participates in industry related associations to network, share experiences and acquire knowledge of industry standards and best practices
QUALIFICATIONS
Educational Requirements:
- Must be fully Bilingual French English Read Write
- Minimum Grade12, relevant post secondary education an asset
- Equivalent combination of education and experience are considered
Prior Related Experience:
- Minimum five (8) years progressive experience in real estate management
Skills:
- Driver’s License
- Knowledge of legislation pertaining to residential tenancies, procurement processes, contract negotiations and analysis, financial analysis, building operating systems maintenance, human resource management skills, and computer proficiency
