The Regional Manager's role to be based in the Wagga Wagga region will be responsible for the operations of up to 60 sites across southern NSW. Reporting through to the General Manager of Country Operations, you will effectively manage the financial and operational aspects of the region specifically grain receivals and outloading as well as pest control. This will be done in line with the company's key objective to reduce risk in the workplace and ensure all employees go about their day in a safe working environment.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in operations management or logistics in the grains industry. You will financially manage the region's budgets; conduct forecasting as well as managing the region's headcount throughout the year. You will also be customer focused. From the smaller grower, to the corporate farmer right through to the end user, you will be an active manager of these relationships.
To be successful in this role you will ideally have:
- Degree/ diploma in agricultural business or similar;
- Sound experience in Logistics Warehousing;
- Strong communication and people management skills;
- Financial management and budgeting experience.
