Responsibilities
- Manage the Sales Effectiveness and Productivity of all Sales channels across Consumer Banking Group including improvement of Sales incentives plans across the region and sharing of best practices. Countries include Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Indonesia and India.
- Provide sales strategy and analysis support to the Regional Head, Sales Distribution to drive business performance.
- Develop and enhance sales KPIs, scorecard, and analyse Sales performance to drive productivity and business growth.
- Establish Regional framework for tracking both leading and financial indicators of sales productivity across countries, products and sales teams.
- Direct the formulation and synchronization of sales incentive compensation objectives and payout arrangement to improve sales productivity.
- Establish regional sales practices including appropriate sales incentive plans which lead to appropriate hiring, skill level and retention of sales teams.
- Ensure a robust sales training and skill development program is implemented together with HR.
- Lead initiatives to improve effectiveness and efficiency of new sales mechanism in support of regional Sales productivity improvement and provide recommendation on country-specific Sales solutions.
- Highlight trends and share best practices with country sales and product teams.
- Review and ensure a robust end to end sales process at countries so as to actively manage mis-selling risk.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Business or Statistics with at least 10 years of relevant experience in sales management with exposure to business analytics, planning, modelling and cost / benefit analysis as well as dealing with Sales Operations, CRM and Revenue Management.
- Strong understanding of consumer banking business dynamics.
- Possess good organisational skills and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Capable of interacting with internal and external customers at senior levels.
- Strong analytical / problem solving skill.
- Ability to understand the big picture to make strategic recommendations.
- Proficient in Power point, Word and Excel; knowledge in CRM and / or data warehouse / SQL / SAS reporting preferred.
