Regional Marketing Director- UHC Employer and Individual Job in Moline, Illinois US

Positions in this function are involved in developing market strategies to support products and drive membership/sales growth. Positions develop strategies and tactical plans to support consumer/member innovation, support new product and program launches, and combat competitive pressures. May analyze economic considerations, develop marketing forecasts, estimate costs, and manage program/project budgets.

Develop and manage marketing strategies to drive membership/sales growth and customer retention for broker and employer channels.

Craft a strategic marketing plan for each health plan once per year, own and manage execution of plan throughout the year.

Responsible for maximization and effective monitoring of marketing budget.

Demonstrate a high degree of comfort interacting with health plan senior leadership teams by serving as the single point of contact for marketing for local health plan leadership (interacts with/ brand, direct marketing, other marketing, other UHC lines of business).

Work directly with local Health Plan leadership to identify and execute on marketing strategies and tactical plans, including: consumer/member innovation, new product and program launches, sponsorships, advertisements, and other marketing tactics.

Monitor and react to changes in the competitive landscape.

Exhibit a proficiency working with less structured, more complex issues.

Focus on assigning reasonable metrics for marketing tactics and tracking performance of planned efforts.

Foster relationships with individuals throughout the organization, despite formal reporting structures.

Develop effective communication channels with health plan, regional, and marketing team leadership.

May analyze economic considerations, develop marketing forecasts, estimate costs, and manage program/project budgets.

Translates concepts into practice.

Works with minimal guidance; seeks guidance on only the most complex tasks.

Provides explanations and information to others on difficult issues.

Coaches, provides feedback, and guides others.

Acts as a resource for others with less experience.

Occasional travel will be required.

High School diploma/ GED + 7 years of equivalent experience OR a Bachelor's degree is required
5+ years of Marketing experience is required
2+ years of experience developing marketing plans/strategies is required
2+ years of experience working with Senior Executives is required
2+ years of experience working in a mid to large organization in a cross-functional way is required

Assets:
Health Insurance experience is preferred
Experience in Business to Business sales or Business to Business marketing is desired
Experience developing and executing Health Wellness initiatives is desired
Experience developing grassroots marketing campaigns is desired
Experience with community relations is desired
