JOB PURPOSE: The Franchise Regional Marketing Manager acts as the conduit and activator between the Home Office Marketing Team and our Franchise System. This role will act as primary point-of-contact for all marketing related needs of Franchise community. This role will ensure the BWW Brand is protected through providing needed tools and resources, as well as approving all marketing collateral for assigned regions.

CORE JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide ongoing and innovative branding and sales building consultation to Franchisees, Operations Partners and Franchise Marketing Managers.
- Assist with development of annual marketing plans for assigned region of responsibility
- Provide ongoing marketing support and training to over 150 plus restaurants, consisting of only franchised restaurants.
- Protect the Buffalo Wild Wings brand within assigned region, in regards to use of name and marks in all forms of internal and external communications.
- Act as main point-of-contact for assigned region and Home Office Marketing Team, ensuring two-way communications are constantly providing insights and support towards sales driving efforts

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Conduct market visits to assess branding and sales building opportunities via local market knowledge; develop and distribute actionable plans and follow-up to Franchise Partners.
- Develop strong business relationships as a consultative partner to Buffalo Wild Wings? Franchisees, Franchise Consultants (FCs) and Franchise Marketing Managers
- Provide ongoing training via various platforms in which ensures assigned regions have in-depth knowledge and understanding of available sales building tools resources.
- Protect the BWW brand through providing continual education and act as the corporate approver for all uses of branded marketing materials
- Approve all locally deployed E-Mail program messages.
- Develop and provide Marketing PR plans for all New Restaurant Openings, Remodels and Closures within assigned region, as requested.
- Evaluate DMA sales trends and utilize trade area knowledge and insight to recommend targeted marketing programs.
- Attend all Co-op meeting within assigned region, as Ex-Official member.
- Work closely with Corporate Regional Marketing Manager in preparation management of all meetings and help enforce co-op specific by-laws and BWW co-op management guidelines; including resolution of disputes.
- Provide real time local market intelligence and system feedback associated with all market activity, e.g. promotions, tests, sales, menu, pricing, results, etc.
- Contribute to the development of the co-op meeting materials ensuring full comprehension of national programs and rationale
- Generate buy-in and alignment in advance of co-op meeting with franchisees, operations and agency partners
- Present national marketing plans, lead local recommendation at co-op meetings
- Provide ongoing training consultation to Field Leadership partners and Franchisees, most up-to-date marketing toolkits and best practices
- Ensure that region has received information and supporting materials for all national marketing programs and program product testing. Act as the primary point of contact for all field based marketing related questions
- Approve and assist with development of all local advertising and marketing collateral to ensure it is on-brand and on-strategy
- Develop and provide training workshops at various regional and market-wide field meetings
- Evaluate promotional, sponsorship and event opportunities that can positively impact a market Coordinate market-wide implementation of approved programs
- Evaluate success and ROI on marketing programs in assigned region
- Provide weekly updates to the Director of Field Marketing on local marketing efforts, travel and meeting schedules, projects and or task force status
- Ensures that trade area surveys and local market research are conducted annually by appropriate local management

Requirements:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Required

- Bachelors degree in Marketing or related field
- 5-7 years of local marketing and media experience
- Ability and willingness to travel 65%+
- Note: This position will be based from home in the Northeast Region of the United States

Preferred

- Company-owned and franchise restaurant or retail experience
- Prior experience working from home and with a virtual team

Knowledge/Skills:

- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to produce internal documents, presentations, training sessions, press releases, collateral materials, and field communications
- Ability to analyze marketing programs yielding overall ROI and success/failure of program(s)
- In-depth understanding of LRM, Media and Public Relations.
- Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite programs
- In depth understanding of field marketing, sales building tactics, project management, and how to effectively support large region in a consistent and proficient manner.
- Ability to take ideas from concept to implementation
- Ability to analyze sales building programs and initiatives yielding overall ROI and success/failure of program(s)
- Ability to develop, plan, organize, and manage a project timeline
- Excellent interpersonal skills both in-person and via email and telephone
