Our client is a rapidly growing Asset Management company with a well-established presence globally, particularly in the Asia Pacific region. As part of their commitment to grow the Asia business, an outstanding opportunity has arisen for a Regional MIS Finance Manager to join the Finance Accounting team.
Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be in charge of the regional management reporting, financial analysis, and financial consolidation for the 8 countries in the region. In this role, you will manage the regional management reporting matrix which includes preparing the cashflow report summary, monthly management reporting package, variance analysis, financial result analysis, and timely response to management queries. In addition, you will help to identify and recommend any process improvement initiatives and drive the process and report automation by using advanced level Excel and programming skills. As part of the career progression, you will also participate in coaching and training some junior members (on-site and off-shore) in the team.
To qualify, individuals must possess:
- A university degree in accounting/ finance/ MIS area and a professional CPA qualification
- 5 to 9 years of relevant experience in MIS and/or financial analysis; preferably within reputable asset management or fund houses
- Solid experiences in regional reporting within a sizable organization
- Advanced system skills in Excel (including basic VBA programming) is a Must; experience in Hyperion Essbase is preferred
- Ability to work independently and interact directly with senior Executives
- Fluency in English and Cantonese
