SITE DESCRIPTION:

This position will coordinate activities across the SCLHS facilities within Kansas. As such, the candidate filling this role will be located at one of the Kansas sites.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Regional Revenue Integrity Coordinator has the primary responsibility for oversight of site based revenue practices to ensure patient charging is both accurate and compliant. This includes a range of responsibilities which may vary by SCLHS care site and would focus on proactive targeting of revenue integrity and charge optimization opportunities - working closely with the SCLHS System Revenue Integrity team. This position is responsible forthe analysis of departmental charges, missed charges and late charges and the identification and implementation of charge improvement and charge capture strategies through Epic and other Revenue systems. This position will work closely with System CDM Analysts to insure consistent charging and coding methodologies throughout the System. This position will support the Region with the monitoring of charge performance, trends and education.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in Business, HIM or Clinical field. Equivalent work experience may substitute degree requirement. Three years healthcare billing, coding / HIM or finance experience required. Understanding of billing, reimbursement, compliance and CPT background preferred. Proficient use of computer applications. Epic, and Craneware experience a plus. Demonstrated customer service skills and excellent written and oral communication.
