This premier bank has a strong commitment to grow its franchise in Asia. An exciting opportunity now exists for an exceptionally high caliber Regional Risk Assurance Manager – Asia.
You strategize and implement the set-up of the regional Assurance function and provide thought leadership to the regional team. You will develop a Risk based plan for execution of assurance reviews across Asia and collaborate with the Operational Risk and Compliance Risk teams to ensure risks, issues and concerns are considered in the monitoring and reviewing activities. You will execute Assurance review engagements in accordance with the Asia Risk assurance plan. You will evaluate and escalate assurance issues and themes, responsible for the clearing assurance reports with stakeholders and responsible parties, and track control recommendations and perform post implementation reviews to ensure control gaps are adequately addressed. You will develop and maintain strong relationships with external and internal audit in order to achieve a coordinated and integrated program of assurance for the region and contribute to the ongoing development of the Operational Risk and Compliance culture.
You will have at least 10 years of financial services industry experience, including experience in one of the following - Audit, Operational Risk Management or Risk Assurance and Monitoring. With strong risk mindset and communication skills, you are analytical, commercial in your approach and solution focused.
