REGIONAL SALES ACCOUNT MANAGER

LEADING TOBACCO SUPPLIER
We are a leading supplier of premium, value priced roll your own tobacco products and cigarettes. We are presently seeking a Regional Sales Account Manager in the NEW England ( ME,VT,NH,MA,CT and RI) area, to develop brand equity within our key wholesale suppliers, distributors and retailer accounts (mainly Convenience and Tobacco only Stores).
Position Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute, and measure Regional Account Manager’s geographic based game plan covering the New England Region.
- Call on and cultivate licensed wholesalers, distributors, retailers and regional market level accounts
- Develop and present retail chain implementation plans to key distributor accounts
- Work with President and National Sales Manager to finalize implementation plans.
- Excellent ability to measure game plan progress vs. objectives.
- Trade Show involvement
- Work with distributor sales persons in each retail market to build brand credibility
- Will be actively involved in leading the re-launch of and promotional push of brands
Critical Experiences:
- Understands, applies and sells Category Management Principles
- Has demonstrated classical sales training
- Understands how to think analytically, develop strategic plans, and ensure retail implementation plans have been followed.
- Has sold marketing and merchandising program to key accounts.
- Develops account and geographic specific business plans
- 100% computer literate
- 5-7 Years experience within Tobacco Sales highly preferred
- Willing and available to travel 20 days per month

- Road Warrior – comfortable being on the road for extended periods
Compensation and Benefits:
- Excellent base salary plus 10% target bonus
