Regional Sales Director

 

This is an outside sales position and must have the ability to work closely with the regional sales team.

 

Qualifications:  Proven history of successfully selling Separately Managed Fixed Income Account (SMA) investment management services to the Financial Advisor (FA) community.  Strong investment knowledge and understanding of the broker/dealer and RIA markets is required.  Experience in handling complex high-end client relationships at the Senior HNW FA level is essential.  The candidate must be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from FA prospects and clients.  Strong written and verbal communication skills are desirable along with effective face-to-face presentational skills.  With an ability to manage time and work independently, the candidate should be self-motivated to succeed, but be willing to work in a team environment.   A minimum of five years of external sales experience along with extensive contacts in the broker/dealer platform channels is desirable.  A commitment to extensive travel is required (50-75%).  Competitive compensation package, commensurate with experience is offered.  Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, CFA and/or designation highly desirable. 

Series 65 required.  Series 3 desirable.
