Regional Sales Director

 Selling complex telecoms software solutions at senior executive levels to Tier 1 Communications Services Providers in the UK and Ireland -  plus ongoing account management of these Tier 1 accounts. This role offers a very high earning potential for the right candidate.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Create demand/sales leads within key accounts within the Region.

·         Qualify prospects and leads to identify relevant business opportunities.

·         Creation and agreement of Account Development Plans, developing Sales Plans and strategies to close new business.

·         Present comprehensive business solutions and negotiate terms at senior levels within the customer’s organisation.

·         Liaise with other parts of my clients organization to prepare proposals and deliver solutions.

·         Work with Tier 1 2 third party partners and system integration organisations.

·         Develop a knowledge and understanding of my client and their, and carry out effective presentations of these to clients.

·         Achieve the agreed sales target.

ENTRY LEVEL REQUIREMENTS

KNOWLEDGE

- ESSENTIAL

·         Telecommunications terminology, networks and billing and customer care systems.

·         Significant knowledge of the Operators within the  Region in particular having proven experience of having sold to them previously

SKILLS

 - ESSENTIAL

·         Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills

·         Solutions sales or similar type sales training/experience

·         Experience of Multi- Level Selling

·         Proven closing capabilities

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Graduate – degree holder

EXPERIENCE

·         3+ years in telecom sector either with an equipment manufacturer or preferably with a telco software company, ideally an OSS or BSS software company.
