Regional Sales Manager

Position Responsibilities

- Develop a sales territory plan.
- Generate ERM opportunities with existing clients as well as with potential new customers in the insurance industry.
- Develop high level relationships with clients, consultants, and external organisations to increase the ERM visibility in the insurance industry.
- Through direct communication with prospective clients, gain a thorough understanding of their business, system needs and requirements, and educate the prospect on ERM offerings and strategy to ultimately turn prospects into profitable, long-term, clients.
- Meet or exceed all yearly sales goals.
- Assist in the development and implementation of the annual sales plan.
- In conjunction with the tactical Sales Executive manage and control the sales cycle from initial prospect contact, client needs analysis, solution presentation, completion of proposals, and contract negotiations including price, delivery schedule, product specifications and terms.
- Maintain an effective presence at industry events, conferences and seminars.
- Track all prospecting activity and sales opportunity activity with companies and contacts on a daily basis.
- Maintain expertise in related insurance industry issues relative to trends, competition, and customer needs.
- Maintain expertise relative to the function and technology of the product offering in order to represent and sell effectively.

Position Requirements

- Minimum of 5 years’ industry related sales experience including software applications or insurance services sales
- Proven success in exceeding sales quotas
- Demonstrated understanding of Solvency II and ERM solutions and services.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Outstanding relationship management skills.
- Education: Bachelors’ degree or equivalent preferred.
- Traveling on a regular basis is required.
