3C Member Network (3C.com) is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for our fast growing company!

The Regional Sales Manager will create and manage a budget for the region, Create a working plan to execute to hit their budget. Evaluate and decide the best Territory Sales Manager (TSM) for their region including recruiting, hiring/firing and training. The RSM will remove obstacles the TSM may have while orchestrating the proper resource available from 3C Network as the point person for understanding the accounts needs, creating value, maintain great customer service and solving any issues there in. Lead the 3C Network organization with standardized procedures around sales tools, process improvement and the roofing industry supply chain. The RSM will continue to self-educate on the market, account and the end user to help cultivate the TSM and any new revenue stream for 3C Network.
Responsibilities:
• Motivate, lead, develop, manage and SELL!
• Understands the company's vision, mission, and strategy; understands business unit objectives and sets/accomplishes individual performance goals accordingly.
• Set a regional budget, create and execute on a plan to hit the budget
• Recruit, hire/fire and train their team of TSMs
• Maximizes TSM's sales efforts by focusing sales time on largest most profitable opportunities (may include segmenting account list).
• Improves product penetration and product mix with all customers.
• Qualifies sales opportunities through market / customer research and teaming with member services resources.
• Develops sales solutions. Communicates value proposition to customers. Proposes sales solutions to customers and reevaluate solutions where necessary.
• Close sales opportunities by gaining new members or upgrading existing members and executing all order fulfillment procedures.
• Develops a strong working relationship within their region of manufacturers, distributors and contractors.
Qualifications:
• Building products market, product and customer knowledge; Roofing industry knowledge preferred; consultative selling skills.
• Strong planning, organization, communication, problem solving and decision-making skills.
• A solid level of knowledge is needed in account management, scheduling, customer support and service, product knowledge, sales support, warehousing, distribution, transportation and records.
• Must be an aggressive self-motivated individual. Possesses basic telephone skills with the ability to identify key issues, evaluate facts and recommend appropriate action.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite, Software understanding, and relevant sales systems technology.
• Years of experience: 5-10 years' experience outside sales in the building products industry.
• 3-5 years of experience inside a roofing company, roofing material manufacturer, or roofing supplier
• BS / BA or equivalent industry experience;
• RSM must reside in the given territory.
