Job Objective:

Responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in a geographical region spanning North East England, Eastern Scotland, Yorkshire and Northampton. Key objectives will be to manage sales within the defined territory towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values. Establish plans and strategies to expand the customer base within marketing and contribute to the development of training and educational programs for customers.

Responsibilities:

·         Work to a jointly developed business plan implementing a sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.

·         Responsible for the performance and development of the sales teams within the distribution base and key accounts.

·         Prepare action plans with individuals at distributor level for effective search of sales, leads, and prospects.

·         Initiate and coordinate development of action plans to penetrate new markets.

·         Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.

·         Provide timely feedback to senior management regarding performance.

·         Provide timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.

·         Maintain accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports submitted by all in sales.

·         Create and conducts proposal presentations and customer responses.

·         Assist sales staff in preparation of proposals and presentations.

·         Control expenses to meet budget guidelines.

·         Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.

·         Maintains contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction. As well as looking for inter group opportunities to expand sales.

 

 

 

·         Job Specifications:

·         Min 5-7 years of experience in sales.

·         Experience within the paint / chemicals industry with a strong understanding of industrial sales.

·         Extensive experience in all aspects of Supplier Relationship Management.

·         Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements, within the paint / chemicals.

·         Willingness to travel and work in a team of professionals.

·         Good understanding of modern IT business tools.
