Job Responsibilities:
The basic function of the Regional Sales Manager is to drive profitable sales growth. This must be accomplished through development of a positive and productive retail-selling environment that ensures premier customer service, customer retention, as well as outstanding associate/doctor satisfaction and retention.
- Drive profitable store sales by fostering a retail selling culture by practicing and role-playing effective retail sales skills, as measured by: new stores: attainment of plan sales goal, existing stores: comp store sales growth, positive comp store contribution, and increased customer transactions.
- Recruitment/retention of high-quality Doctors as measured by: exceptional customer satisfaction, doctor vacancy ratio, coverage/quality of hours, quality of exams, and conversion of exams to sales.
- Recruit, train, develop, motivate and retain World Class Associates, as measured by: productivity, employee satisfaction survey results, and bench strength.
- Ensure each store is effectively merchandised and presented according to standards as measured by: compliance with plan-o-gram and visual imagery.
- Ensure high quality/timely product manufacturing/fabrication as measured by: ready when promised, quality audits, and adherence to Lab Standards and Safety Policies.
- Maximize Managed Vision Care relationships and sales opportunities as measured by: effective plan administration and local service.
- Timely implementation of approved Marketing programs as measured by: profitable sales growth and increased customer count
Qualifications:
· Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
· Must have a record of solid business accomplishments as a business leader
· 5+ years experience in multi-unit management – Retail Industry
· Or 5+ years experience in a retail optical store.
