Position: Regional Sales Manager

 

Location: Southlake, Texas

 

Function: The Regional Sales Manager will develop sales for the Western Region. The candidate can be located in Southlake, TX, or any other major city in the western portion of the United States for Rosslare Security Products They will maintain existing distributors, dealers, and private label accounts as well.

 

Working Hours/Week: Exempt 40 Hours (No Overtime Paid)

 

Language Requirements: Ability to Read, Write and speak fluent English

 

Language Preferences: Bi-lingual in Spanish English preferred, but not required

 

 

Position Description: The Regional Sales Manager reports directly to the General Manager. The Regional Sales Manager will develop sales for a specific region of the United States representing Rosslare Security Products.  The Regional Sales Manager must have 3-5 years of sales experience selling Access Control and Intrusion products and must have a high level of understanding of all security products.  The position requires 60-70% travel to customer facilities, trade shows, and seminars.

 

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree desired) with 3-5 years of sales experience selling Access Control and Intrusion products. Candidate must demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills.  The candidate must be highly detail oriented, fluent with MS office and CRM software.

 

Job Duties and Description:

 

•          Develops new clients and maintains existing clients within the region.

•          Participates in trade shows to meet customers, promote our services and products and to learn about competitive products for input to sales and engineering departments.

•          Recruit new dealers, distributors, Mfg. Reps. to support geographic territory.

•          Conducts training seminars for sales staff, manufacturers representatives, and customers.

•          Travels to customer's site, as required, to develop/solidify relationships in the field.

•          Reviews all installation instruction manuals and provides input to marketing department on the accuracy and usability of these documents.

•          Prepare weekly activity report, calls, lead generation, quote and sales activity.

•          Technical knowledge of all products and their proper installation and function.

•          Extensive knowledge of the Access control and Intrusion industry.

•          Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written to create a cooperative work environment.

•          Ability to work directly with customers to solve their problems and to promote the positive image and reputation of Rosslare services and products.

•          Excellent computer and software skills.

•          Knowledge of laws, regulations, methods, and techniques in the Security Industry.

•          May have other duties as requested by direct/indirect manager.
