Regional Sales Manager-West Coast

The Regional Sales Manager for Hain Refrigerated-West Coast is responsible for calling on all natural and organic independents and all retail stores within the geographic territory detailed below, and may Include other assigned Key Accounts. Position also requires managing relationships with Hain Celestial independent sales team members within geographic area to help promote skus to independent retailers. Position will require travel within the region mostly day travel but will also require some overnight travel and trade show attendance.

Location: WA, HI, OR, CA, AZ, UT, NV, CO, NM, WY, MO, and ID and may include other key accounts as well.

Core responsibilities include but are not limited to: 
1. Gaining distribution on all core and new items. 
2. Merchandise displays.
3. Represent Hain Refrigerated at all scheduled reset events, new store setups and other assigned merchandising and sales functions. 
4.  Maintain regular contact with all assigned customers through scheduled store visits, sales calls and market checks.
 
5.  Present all assigned Hain Promotions in a timely manner for implementation to retail. 
6.  Ensure all new items are presented to Key Accounts assigned in a timely manner. 
 
7.  Maintains excellent working relationships with each assigned customer, ensuring unsurpassed levels of customer service.
 
8. Track new item placements, core item distribution and conduct store audits for pricing discrepancies. 
9. Achieves regional sales operational objectives by contributing regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining regional sales system improvements; implementing change. 
10. Meeting regional sales financial objectives set forth by management. Goals based on hitting ACV targets by SKU. 
11. Identifying new placement opportunities. 
12. Tracking competitors movement within region.

Qualifications
1. 5-10 years sales experience.
2. Consumer Packaged Goods experience.
3. Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office programs and ability to quickly learn new systems.
4. Ability to work in a high energy work environment.
5. Strong analytical skills.
6. Strong problem solving skills along with the ability to prioritize and remain flexible.
7. Strong written and communication skills for contact with all levels of management.
8. Self-starter with ability to work under minimal supervision.
